Easter eggs au naturale

My foodie friend Jay sent us this photo, which he shot this morning at the Union Square Farmer’s Market. As you can see, these ovum were not decorated by PAAS. Leslie and I were just reminiscing about our childhood days, dunking eggs into bowls of dye, and how she would write inappropriate things about her brother on the eggs with the wax crayon that came with every kit. The earthy beauties above are obviously in a different class. They’re gorgeous, and inspire and terrify me at the same time–does this mean I should I be stepping up my game?
