Get Thee To Church!

One of the first things we did upon moving to the burb-countryside of New Jersey is join a church. Now, this might not be the thing that you do upon picking up sticks, but back in my youth I was a pretty active Episcopalian (the youth retreats are really good times…trust me) and I figured the kids probably needed a little Sunday schooling in their lives. Conor was going on 3 years old and hadn’t yet been baptized. This was a pressing concern for me because have you ever seen the opening credits of True Blood? Where the adult-woman is dunked forcibly backwards into swamp water? I didn’t want the sanctity of Conor’s soul to become the responsibility of a couple of Cajuns, for goodness sake.

So we signed-up at St. Luke’s

Yay for freezable stuff… I am 8 weeks from having a new baby and I suspect it will be even harder to keep dinner on the table the third time around.

Thanks for the inspiring post. This is sure a lot of eggplant marinara!
