A long holiday weekend is upon us and while some of you may be hitting the slopes and embarrassing your children by attempting to snow board for the first time, we’re staying home and going ice skating and working on winterizing our big old drafty house (Did you see THIS ARTICLE in the Times? It made me want to run to Home Depot immediately). It was 9 degrees this morning, the icicles dangling from the gutter are like crystal daggers, and our Tudor feels like it’s hemorrhaging heat.
