I know it may seem like it’s a bit early to start discussing Thanksgiving (although I was just at Costco and the Christmas displays are fully-up), but really it’s never too soon to start planning the biggest meal of the year, especially if YOU are the one in charge.
So to help you out, I’m sharing a feature I wrote for this month’s Redbook magazine! The concept for the story is how to have a stress-free holiday, while still being a hostess with the mostess. The magazine let me go out to some of my favorite decor, entertaining, food, and lifestyle experts for their sage (get it?) advice on simple but still special treatments for everything from the appetizers to the flowers. There are also some thoughtful tips on how to actually enjoy the day and your family–yes, it is possible.
