The other day I wrote about my attempt at making waffles, and the queen of Belgian-waffle making: my grandmother; otherwise known as Mamy.
And then I remembered this old photo of her making gaufres (waffles) in a kitchen that none of us can remember–where the heck was she? Maybe she was on a waffle-making tour and just plugged her iron into some lucky person’s kitchen.
I love this photo though, because it reminds me of her
