I've been seeing so many savory avocado posts. I love it. I grew up in Brazil where avocados are consumed with honey, never savory always sweet. I'm liking this new experience.
Mmm I love avocado! On a trip to Peru we were in a remote village and the only thing safe to eat was the avocados, we slathered them on rolls with just some sea salt and it was delicious!
Avocados with honey! This I must try. I had a friend from Colombia and her mother used to cut it in half, remove the pit, and fill the pit with sugar…I think I'd prefer shrimp salad.
Loooveee. I have a half an avocado on whole wheat toast (+salt and pepper) every morning for breakfast, but never though to try it w/ hummus. Will definitely give it a go!
Brilliant! it's these simple things that are so good. I've done something similar with soft goat cheese. Yum.
I love to fix avocado, tomato, sprouts, cucumber*sliced very thin, and swiss cheese on pumpernickel slathered with mayo. If I'm feeling really capricious thinly sliced sweet onion goes on. Salt and pepper. It's a meal.
